Learning to tailwhip on a scooter was the hardest thing that I have ever learned, but I persevered and never gave up. One day, I went to the skate park with Cody, Gray, Alden, and Hawken. Cody showed me his tail whip flat, and I was inspired. The next day, I begged my Mom to take me to the skate park. Finally, she did. At the skate park, I found out that tail whips are not as easy as they look. I had to keep trying, and it took lots of trial and error, and many skinned knees. But after about half a year, my dad took me to the Lafayette Skate Park. I met a friend, and landed my first tailwhip. The moral of my story is that hard work pays off and never give up.
